“I’m only sixteen years old” -Megan

Megan Patsel is a writer, designer, artist and comedian based in Brooklyn, New York.

Originally from Corte Madera, California (outside of San Francisco) Megan graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a degree in theatre and a minor in Studio Arts. She moved to New York City and started training at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in 2014.

She’s the co-founder of comedy production group Spanky Productions and her writing credits include the short film Mary Beth’s Sex Tape (2017); series Good Sets (2016), Weenies (2018) and Totally Tim (2019); and staff writer for the live “Livia Scott Sketch Program” (2015) at the UCB. Her solo cabaret show “All Eighties Songs” premiered at The Cobra Club in 2018. Elsewhere, she’s performed at The Upright Citizens Brigade, Club Cumming, The Duplex, Union Hall, and Caveat in New York City.
